A Break in Regularly Scheduled Programming

I didn't get to see the whole Women's match (which thankfully was a 1-0 win at home against Reading thanks to a great goal from Jessica Naz), and I'm too disgusted about the Men's game to want to talk about it, so the newsletter will be returning to its regularly scheduled programming on Thursday (or thereabouts) after the ECL match. The first half performance today was just pathetic. There's not much more to say. I'm glad Son got onto the scoresheet at least, and Lucas, Skipp, and Gil can still hold their heads high (arguably Lloris too, despite the 3-1 final score), but everyone else? Unforgivably poor. I can't decide how I feel about Nuno--should he be given more time, or should he go?--but there are some clear issues that need to be addressed whether he's still in charge after this match or not. Let's celebrate the Women's team getting off to a strong start and showing a lot of improvement over last season, and hope the Men's team can get their act together soon before the season goes completely off the rails.

Try to enjoy the rest of your weekends!
